Meet the Team
Stephen Heathcock

Steve grew up attending Queensway Christian School and attended Queensway Cathedral before moving out of the city. He started full-time ministry in 1993, having completed his Bach. of Sacred Music at Ontario Bible College.
Over the years, he has ministered in many pastoral roles: Youth & Jr. High, Young Adults, Small Groups, and Worship and Celebrative Arts. Pastor Steve has been serving CCC as lead pastor since the fall of 2013, shepherding a multicultural/multigenerational congregation, with focus on each member's spiritual development and discipleship. He is passionate about Spirit-filled leadership, relationship, and helping the church reach the fullness in Christ that Ephesians 4 calls us to.
He has a strong mentorship capability and equips teams to lead in various ministries at CCC. He has a heart for local and international missions work and has been involved with missions to 7 different countries, most recently Cuba and Ghana.
Steve is married to his beautiful wife of 33 years and they are blessed with four young adult children, a daughter-in-law, and a lovely grandson. He enjoys the outdoors by hiking, camping, fishing, golf, and especially spending time in his canoe.
Brianna Reid
Family Ministries Pastor
Brianna was born in Scarborough and raised in Pickering, Ontario. While she was involved in ministry opportunities with her family throughout her life, she felt a specific call to ministry while working with youth at her home church. Brianna graduated from Master's College and Seminary, specializing in youth ministry, in April 2022, and joined the team at City Christian Centre shortly afterwards.
Her favourite part of her job is the opportunity to disciple students from ages 0-18, and see them live passionately for Jesus! In her free time, she loves adding more books to her TBR pile, being outdoors, or spending time with friends or her adorable puppy Mac. One thing about her is that she has yet to be convinced by anyone that coffee is good, but you will see her drink lots of herbal tea!
Julie Rogers
Associate Pastor
Julie grew up in Smiths Falls, Ontario. She graduated Ottawa University with a Bachelor of Nursing Science in 2007. She settled in Prescott, Ontario and was recently an associate pastor at Seaway Christian Church (PAOC). She and her husband, Steve, recently moved to Kingston. They have been serving in music ministry together for over 20 years.
Julie has also previously served as a Sunday School coordinator and teacher, as well as a Jr. High/Youth Leader. She completed a Certificate in Bible and Theology through Global University and received her Recognition of Ministry through the PAOC.
Julie keeps her nursing license active through working as a Registered Nurse at the MEA Centre and Queen's Family Health Team.
She and her husband also have two wonderful children in competitive soccer. You can always find them either at church or the soccer pitch. Julie is so excited to be a small part of what God is doing in Kingston!
Dorothy Gaddah
Secretary/Church Admin
Dorothy has shown consistent love for God and His work from the very first day she joined City Christian Centre. She grew up in a Christian family, as her father is a full-time pastor. This environment fostered her passion and love for Jesus Christ. Having committed her life to Christ in her early teens, she has always availed herself in diverse capacities to work to expand the Kingdom.
Prior to working at CCC, she served as a Missionettes coordinator (mentoring young girls), Sunday School teacher, and Welfare Fund treasurer/financial secretary at Temple of Praise (Assemblies of God Church). During her undergraduate studies, she was a staunch leader of the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry, University of Cape Coast, serving as secretary and rural missions organizing member.
She enjoys assisting the seniors, children, Deeper Life Bible studies, and working in various administrative roles at City Christian centre.
Mark Kirkwood

His zealousness and passion in performing his duties assists in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our church. Mark identifies his custodial duties at CCC as much more than just a job. He considers it a part of his ministry.
